Holiday Ride and Toy Drive

The season of giving has begun, and we are calling on the north county cycling community to help, by collecting toys for families in need over the holidays. We will be supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities, Rady Children’s Hospital Toy Fund and The Mitchell Thorp Foundation.

The Toy Drive will culminate with a Holiday Ride from Rouleur Brewery in Carlsbad on Sunday, December 12th. The ride will be a conversational pace through the city of Carlsbad and all abilities of cyclists are welcome; you must sign a waiver to ride. We encourage you to dress up in the spirit of the holidays and let’s come together as a community to brighten the holidays for kids in need.  We will gather at 9:00am for coffee, pastries and presentations, and the ride will roll out approximately at 10 am.

The Toy Ride and Drive is in honor of Jocelyn Croxen #JocelynStrong, a strong and beautiful 9yr old warrior that is currently fighting T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Rather than think of herself over the holidays, she’s thinking of others that are also fighting and wants to make sure they know, they have a community wrapping our collective arms around them and supporting them.

We are asking you to donate a new unwrapped toy for kids infant to 17yrs old. No stuffed animals, please.
